About the project

In Colombia, 30.3% of trans people suffer discrimination when searching for a place to rent. Also, 50% of LGBTQI+ community members hide their sexual orientation to avoid rejection from home and office owners. (World Habitat Annual Report).

In Homecenter, Colombia's leading home improvement retailer, we believe discrimination shouldn't be a barrier for people to live in a place worth living. That's why we turned regular rental posters into a way of promoting inclusion. This way, we made owners and the entire country aware of the issue.

To spread the message, we published an ad in the newspapers with the highest circulation in the country. People could also download the poster on our website or get one at our stores.
